In the Women in Social Peace podcast series, we tried to examine the importance of women’s inclusion in peace processes, their effects, experiences, and observations on these issues, and we wish to highlight their stories as well.

In this episode, we talked with DPI (Democratic Progress Institute) Senior Regional Strategy Analyst Esra Elmas about the different meanings of peace, women’s participation in the Northern Ireland Peace Process and the roles of other actors. However, we also talked about the “Wise People Delegation” experience in Turkey in 2013, women inclusion and the effects of the process.
